Disclaimer: It can be difficult to definitively determine whether the information you read or hear is disinformation. This game provides a starting point for recognising communication tactics that may be used to construct or reinforce potential chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) disinformation narratives. Many of these tactics can also appear in legitimate communication and should therefore be treated as indicators prompting closer examination of the narrative, rather than as evidence of disinformation on their own. Confirming whether a claim is deceptive often requires further investigation and may not be possible in real time.
How to play
